HUEGLI TECH and HED unveil CL-709, a cost effective 11cm display-controller
HUEGLI TECH and HED Inc. announce the expansion of their rugged (-40C to +70C), sealed (IP67) display series.
The CL-709 display integrates a high resolution 11 cm TFT LCD in a compact enclosure that can be either dash or RAM mounted.
The combination of a bright LCD (> 450nits) along with optically bonded anti-reflective glass allows the display to be easily readable regardless lighting conditions. The display contains a powerful 32 bit PowerPC based processor allowing the display to serve both, as a display and as a master control module, in the vehicle control system.
With two CAN ports, the display can read engine/ chassis data along with CAN-Open or J1939 messages from other vehicle devices.
The CL-709 is also equipped with up to eight software configurable inputs and four PWM outputs rated up to 3 amps.
The CL-709 can be programmed using HED’s do-it-yourself GUI software package, CANLink Orchestra™ or the display can be configured (both display screens and control logic) via Excel to interface with any engine type.
