Automatic Fuel Shut Down Valves

Automatic Fuel Shut Down Valves
Used in conjuction with air intake closure valves to automatically shut down the engine diesel supply should overspeeding occur. Operates in conjunction with Chalwyn 'D', 'X' or 'Z' Valves to automatically close down the engine diesel supply should engine overspeeding occur. Manual reset is necessary after an automatic shut down as required by EN 1834.1 : 2000.
Flame proof alternators

Flame proof alternators
Standard automotive type engine mounted alternators are a potential ignition source and are therefore not permitted to be used in areas classified as hazardous. To overcome this Chalwyn have introduced a range of flameproof alternators (externally excited and self-exciting) specifically for direct mounting on diesel engines.
Two types, both designed as belt driven engine mounted units and fully approved as category 2 (zone 1), group IIB, T4 apparatus.
