HT-DST4602 is a highly configurable gen-set controller designed to handle a broad range of critical and complex parallel applications, including multiple Mains and CHP systems. It includes an internal load sharing unit that allows simple implementation of Multiple Prime Mover applications. PLC functions (including PID blocks) are now embedded in this unit.

A split version is available too. It consists of two units: a display unit, to be mounted on the front panel and a control unit to be mounted inside the panel on the DIN rail. The new integrated system for remote control of one or many generator sets via GPRS technology.

This innovative system is designed to maintain a continuous connection to installed gensets via GPRS and the internet. The gensets can be programmed to transfer status information at timed intervals or to report specified events to a central data centre. As GPRS communication is billed on the volume of data transferred, this allows very cost-effective permanent monitoring.

This technology also allows any internet-connected smartphone, tablet or PC to interrogate the status of each genset at any time, simply by using a web browser to contact a private web address. The status can also be requested via SMS from standard mobile ‘phones.

The REWIND module can be fitted with an optional GPS plug-in that can report the current location and the software will present status information on a map.

GAC have rationalised the SDG governor line. The original SDG-510, SDG-511, SDG-512 and SDG-513 will all be discontinued and replaced by two new types SDG-514 and SDG-524. Both the new types feature the more popular, sealed Deutsch connector, 2 fixed speeds and a 3^rd, variable, speed. The difference is the input signal for varying the 3^rd speed; a 10kOhm resistor (SDG-514) or 0-5V DC signal (SDG-524).

Two cable harnesses are available for both models. The CH-5X4-RS232 includes an additional RS-232 cable to allow connection to a laptop for configuration. This should be substituted in normal operation by CH-5X4-LXX to minimise interference.
